Paul Miller
Founder and CEO of the Digital Workplace Forum
Paul is a technology and social entrepreneur. He founded the Intranet Benchmarking Forum in 2002 and has been at the heart of the “intranet revolution” for the last decade. IBF is world leader in Intranet benchmarking and best practice with more than 100 member organizations. IBF was described by Oracle as a “phenomenon in the intranet industry” due to its path of innovation and methodology.
He is the host of IBF Live, a monthly intranet media show and Executive Producer and host of IBF 24, featuring 24 hours of the world’s best intranets and thought provoking discussion on how work is being redesigned through technology. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, wrote the best-selling book “Mobilising the Power of What You Know” and latest book is “The Digital Workplace”. He is CEO and Founder of the Digital Workplace Forum.
After an early career as a Business Editor and speech writer, Paul published the influential WAVE magazine in 1990 and established The Empowerment Group in 1992, pioneering new approaches to communication within major organisations. In 1993 he co-founded the Ideas Cafe; a regular innovation event gathering shaped along social software lines, during the early days of the web. Paul was one of the leaders of the innovative “Fathers and Daughters Weekends”. He lives in London and has two daughters.
Nancy Goebel, Managing Director
As Managing Director, Nancy is responsible for service delivery globally including business and team development. Nancy also runs the North American business for the Intranet Benchmarking Forum as well as the global benchmarking program.
Prior to this, Nancy was the corporate sector e-Leader at JPMorgan Chase. Nancy has over 18 years of corporate office experience. Nancy led a successful an award-winning intranet team (recognized in the 2007 Nielsen Norman Group Design Annual). Nancy chaired a range the global community of intranet managers and delivered intranet sites and services to enhance workforce productivity.
Mark Silverman, Commercial Director
As Commercial Director Mark is a member of the Management Team with responsiblity for contracts, legal, property and insurance matters for both the Digital Workplace Forum and the Intranet Benchmarking Forum . Mark is also a Vice President of IBF’s US subsidiary, Intranet Benchmarking Forum USA Inc.
Elizabeth Marsh, Chief Knowledge Officer
Elizabeth is responsible for the global program of research streams and investigations. customized insights and research into this complex world of the Digital Workplace, enabling informed decision-making that will shape the future world of work for Partner Organizations. Elizabeth also plays the role of CKO within the Intranet Benchmarking Forum.
Elizabeth also brings over eight years experience designing, developing and managing intranets. Before joining IBF in 2007, she worked for T-Mobile (UK) where she managed the customer services intranet, with a strong focus on knowledge management and internal communications.
